とても年老いたロバ

Brought this for my six-year-old's bedtime reading and the story about finding new work sparked a good discussion about growing older. The donkey and Robbie's friendship really held her attention through all the pages.

My four-year-old loves following the donkey and Robbie's search for new jobs. The story's simple enough for her to understand but still keeps her engaged through to the end.

The illustrations really capture the donkey's gentle personality, and the search-for-work storyline kept my six-year-old engaged. I wish the binding was a bit sturdier for repeated readings, but the story itself is charming.
