The wood feels wonderfully smooth and solid in my child’s hands, and that ochre paint job has a lovely matte finish that doesn’t look cheap. It’s become a favorite in our play barn setup.

The hand-painted ochre tones on this rooster are so warm and lovely, with a smooth finish that feels wonderful in small hands. It’s sturdy enough for my son to carry around the house, and I love that it’s made from natural wood. A simple, beautiful toy that sparks imaginative play.

The ochre color is even richer in person than on screen, and the smooth beech wood has a satisfying weight. Our toddler immediately started carrying it around for imaginative play, and it’s held up perfectly to a few drops.
