My toddler carries this bear everywhere—the simple, handcrafted shape leaves so much room for imagination. It's sturdy enough for rough play but still has that lovely natural wood grain you can feel.

The hand-painted finish is lovely and smooth, no sharp edges at all, which matters with a toddler. It's a bit pricier than I'd normally go for a toy, but the natural wood feel and solid weight make it feel worth it.

I was surprised by how smooth the wood finish is, and the bear's simple form has a nice weight to it. My toddler prefers carrying it around to most of his plastic toys. Only wish the legs were a bit more poseable, but the craftsmanship is clearly top-notch.
