青蛙王子

The Grimm story itself is a classic, but what really won me over here is how the watercolors bring out a gentle, almost spiritual quality in the frog prince. My kid asked to read it three times in a row last night.

The watercolour paintings by Annelise Twentyman are absolutely charming—they add a dreamy layer to the Grimm tale. I’ve read this story before, but this edition really made me notice the soul qualities mentioned in the description.

The simple telling of the Grimm tale is refreshing, and the five watercolour paintings truly bring out the deeper soul qualities of the story. I read it to my kids and we all enjoyed discussing the hidden meanings.
