I was pleasantly surprised how well the dark violet layered over a light wash without muddying the color. The violet blue stick has a creamy texture that makes shading effortless.

The wine red stick blends so smoothly into the paper, it’s like drawing with softened butter. These four shades layer beautifully together for deep, rich shadows in my floral sketches.
