Ostheimer 蒼頭燕雀

The smooth natural wood grain peeking through the paint gives this chaffinch a lovely tactile quality for little hands. My son immediately noticed the subtle curve of its tail feathers, and it now perches happily with his other toy birds.

The hand-painted details on this little bird are remarkably delicate for its size. It feels wonderfully smooth and substantial in the hand, a perfect weight for small world play.

My toddler carries this little wooden bird everywhere - the smooth natural finish feels lovely in small hands. The hand-painted details are surprisingly delicate for such a simple toy. It’s become a quiet favorite in our playroom.
