Ostheimer Calf Black & White Standing

My toddler carries this little calf around everywhere now. The hand-carved wood has a lovely weight to it and the black and white paint job is clean and precise, exactly what you'd expect from a Waldorf-inspired piece. It's become a favorite in our animal basket.

The calf fits perfectly in my toddler's hand, and the smooth beechwood finish has held up well to daily play. It’s a simple, beautiful toy that encourages gentle pretend play.

The little calf's hand-painted face is so gentle and expressive, and the wood has that lovely, warm natural feel you only get from true craftsmanship. It's already become the favorite in our Waldorf-inspired play basket.
