Ostheimer 小紅帽

The carving is so smooth and sturdy, my daughter has already used her for three separate fairy tale scenes this afternoon. It’s lovely that something this classic still feels so alive in her hands.

The paint on her face is so delicate and expressive, my daughter immediately started walking her through the woods in a story. The wood feels smooth and warm, much nicer than plastic toys. She's the perfect size for little hands to hold during our fairy tale readings.

The hand-painted details on the face give her a gentle, friendly expression that my daughter loves. She fits perfectly with our other wooden figures for storytelling. Only wish the basket was a separate piece.
