Ostheimer Pepe

My daughter spotted Pepe in the storybook first, and now she carries the little wooden figure everywhere—it’s surprisingly sturdy for its size and the paint job is crisp enough to match the illustrations perfectly.

I love how the paintwork on Pepe captures the gentle expression from the book so perfectly. The wood feels smooth and nicely weighted in my child's hands, making it ideal for small world play.

The little wooden Pepe figure has such a gentle, hand-painted face that perfectly matches the character from the new book. My child carries it everywhere and loves acting out the story with it. The wood feels smooth and substantial, not flimsy at all.
