Ostheimer 深色母雞在巢上

The hen's painted eye gives it so much character, and the wood has a lovely natural grain. My toddler loves tucking the tiny chick under her wing during play.

The wood has a lovely, warm feel that you just don’t get with plastic toys, and the paint job is so delicate and precise. My little one immediately noticed the hen’s gentle expression and has been carrying it around all afternoon.

I was pleased with how smooth and well-shaped the hen figure is—no rough edges at all. The dark stain on the nest gives it a nice, natural look that fits right into our playroom. My only small gripe is it’s a bit pricier than I’d usually spend on a toy, but the quality seems solid.
