Ostheimer Birch Small 2024

The hand-painted finish is subtle and lovely, and I love that each tree has its own slight variation from being made by hand. My toddler loves to line them up in a little forest scene.

The tiny grain of the maple wood is so fine and smooth to the touch, and the hand-painted colors are soft and even. My child has been using it as a centerpiece for small animal toys all afternoon.

The maple wood feels solid and smooth, and the hand-painted birch pattern has a nice matte finish that doesn’t look cheap. It’s a touch pricier than I’d like for a single figure, but the craftsmanship is clearly there. Perfect size for a small play scene.
