My kids love acting out the hare and turtle roles, and the cooperative gameplay actually stopped the usual arguments. The quality of the wooden game pieces is really nice and durable for little hands.

We bought this for a family game night and the cooperative teamwork twist kept even the youngest players engaged. The "help each other" mechanic makes it so much more fun than a typical racing game.

The cooperative mechanic really shines during family game night—my three-year-old actually understands that helping the turtle teammates move forward is the whole point. The wooden pieces are sturdy enough for little hands, and the storybook-style artwork keeps everyone engaged from start to finish.
