莉莉與仙子屋

My daughter asked me to read this twice in a row, she was so caught up in whether the fairies would actually show up for the party. The idea of the rose petal bed is so sweet and it sparked a whole afternoon of her building her own fairy house in the backyard.

The rose petal bed and gum leaf table details are so charming — my daughter immediately started building her own version after we finished reading. This is one of those rare picture books that sparks real imaginative play.

My three-year-old was captivated by the rose petal bed detail and keeps asking to read it again. The story is sweet, though I wish the ending had a bit more magic.
