克里斯多夫的花園

My grandson was glued to the pages from the moment September showed up—the hunt for that lost ball had him giggling at every turn. It's the kind of story that makes you want to sit in a garden yourself and wait for a strange new friend.

The illustrations in this book are gorgeous, especially the garden scenes that feel so alive. My five-year-old loves following Christopher and September on their adventure, and we've read it three nights in a row now. The story has a lovely whimsical quality that really sparks imagination.

My kid is usually done with picture books after one read, but this one has been requested three nights in a row. The way the hunt for the lost ball unfolds new characters feels like a gentle adventure, and the whole idea of finding a secret world in your own garden really captured their imagination.
