The red varnished metal is seriously sturdy—my daughter's already left these out in a light rain and the powder coating didn't chip. The rake and spade are the perfect size for her small hands, and she's been "helping" me weed the garden every afternoon since they arrived.

My three-year-old loves how the bright red metal tools feel solid in her hands, and the shovel has already survived a full afternoon of digging in our rocky soil.

The metal handles are a nice weight for my son's hands and the bright red color makes them easy to spot in the garden. He's been using the little rake to help me with leaves and the shovel hasn't chipped or bent at all.
