This seasonal quarterly UK magazine is for children to learn about nature and its beautiful seasons.

This magazine opens up children to a creativity through stories, activities, drawing, crafting, letter and number work.

Each issue of A Year and a Day includes three full stories, fifteen story-based activities and several additional seasonally themed pages, including recipes, posters and quizzes. Each issue has an average of forty pages, printed on high quality, uncoated paper, especially for drawing and writing on.

Are you afraid of heights? We hope not, because, in this issue, we are going to look at the world from the tops of trees. We will talk a lot about trees and what their leafy branches mean for children, animals, forest fairies, and even for communities of people.

Abigail T. ★★★★★

Issue 19 arrived and we immediately got lost in the treetop illustrations—my son even tried to spot the birds from the activity page out our window. The mix of stories and crafts kept him engaged for two quiet afternoons.

Evelyn R. ★★★★★

My daughter spent a whole afternoon working on the treehouse craft project from this issue. The mix of stories and hands-on activities kept her engaged without needing a screen.

Leo ★★★★★

We picked this up for a rainy afternoon, and my 7-year-old was immediately drawn to the treehouse-themed craft project. The paper quality feels substantial, perfect for the drawing and cutting activities. It's a wonderful way to spend screen-free time connecting with nature's seasons.
