I was skeptical about the grip hole at first, but it actually makes the whole thing way easier to hold while you're playing. The melody variety has a surprisingly sweet tone when you run the mallet along the inner surface, and it’s become my go-to little fidget for relaxing after work.

Running the wooden mallet along the inner surface produces such a unique, resonant sound—it's oddly satisfying. The grip hole really helps keep everything steady while you play, too.

The grip hole makes it much easier for my kids to hold while they play. Running the mallet along the inner surface gives a surprisingly clear, melodic tone that's really satisfying. We've already spent an hour just experimenting with different rhythms.
