Tabitha bewaakt het kippenhok

The illustrations of the muddy henhouse and the rat family really brought the story to life for my grandson — he kept pointing at the pictures. The pacing is just right for a bedtime read, not too long but enough to feel like a complete adventure. We’ve already read it three nights in a row.

The rat family drama actually made my little one giggle out loud, and the mud brick henhouse detail gave us something fun to imagine together. We've read it three nights in a row now.

My kids kept asking for more bedtime stories after we finished the part where the rat family first shows up. It’s just the right length for a quick chapter before sleep, and the mud brick henhouse description feels so cozy. We’re already rooting for Tabitha to save the day.
