Adventskalender met de Dieren

The hinged doors make each reveal feel like unwrapping a tiny gift, and the final window with Jesus in Mary’s arms is a beautiful touch. My kids have been so patient checking one number each day. It’s the perfect size for our mantelpiece at 43 centimeters wide.

I wasn’t sure about the size being 43 x 31 cms until it arrived, but it looks great on our mantelpiece. The woodland scene is sweet and each hinged door really adds a little moment of discovery—we just wish the final reveal of Mary and Jesus felt a bit more detailed.

I wasn’t sure about the scale at first, but the 43 cm size works well on our mantel. The woodland scene is charming, and I love that each window adds more detail to the story. Only small thing is one of the hinges is a bit stiff, but it’s still a beautiful piece.
