The color range covers every primary and secondary hue I could need for mixing, and the pencils sharpen to a fine point without breaking. They lay down smoothly with rich pigment, even on rough paper.

The tin packaging is sturdy enough to survive being tossed in my art bag, and the color selection covers all the essential primaries I need for mixing. Each pencil lays down pigment smoothly without that waxy feel cheaper sets have.

I’ve been blending these pencils for a few days now, and the range of primary colors lets me mix just about any shade I need. The wood feels smooth when sharpening, and the tin keeps everything organized on my desk.
