사랑스러운 작은 동물들 모두

We read it aloud twice in one sitting and both times my daughter insisted on acting out Puttie’s crying part. The dry humor of the funeral business premise is so refreshing, and the rhythm of the writing makes it a joy to perform.

My son was really into the idea of a funeral business for bugs after we read this, and the poems inside gave us a way to talk about death without it being scary. The part where Puttie cries every time feels so real and honest.

I bought this for my niece and we ended up reading it three times in one sitting—the way the kids handle death with such sincere, matter-of-fact logic is both funny and touching. The simple line drawings perfectly match the gentle tone of the story.
