Ostheimer Pond Plate, 2 pieces

The two plates are the perfect size for our little wooden duck family’s pond scene, and the natural grain means each one has its own subtle character. My kids have already used them for a dozen different small world setups and they fit right in with everything else we own.

The wood has a lovely, smooth feel that’s perfect for small hands, and the simple pond shape sparks so many creative stories. We’ve used them with little animal figures and even as a tiny lake for a fairy house. It’s a simple piece that gets a surprising amount of playtime.

My toddler immediately started using these as little islands for her toy animals. The smooth, unpainted wood feels lovely to hold, and they are just the right size for tiny hands to move around.
