Ostheimer Lynx Sitting 2024

The wood has a lovely weight to it, and you can tell each curve was shaped by hand rather than a machine. My toddler immediately grabbed it for our animal lineup, and the lynx's calm, seated pose fits right into imaginative play. It's a simple piece, but the craftsmanship really shines through.

The hand-painted finish gives this lynx such a lifelike, gentle expression—it’s truly a piece of art. My daughter loves how smoothly it fits into her tiny hands, and the wood feels warm and durable.

My toddler carries this lynx around everywhere—the hand-painted details make each one feel unique. It’s surprisingly sturdy for a wooden figure and the certified materials give me peace of mind.
