My kids were captivated by the eight dreamtime stories, and I loved learning about the Kukatja people's history. The cultural depth of each tale really brings the Kimberley region to life.

The way these eight stories connect to the Kukatja people's history in the Kimberley Region gives the book real depth, not just folklore. I found myself re-reading the cultural explanations after each tale.

The artwork in each dreamtime story is so beautiful, it really brings the Kukatja people's history to life. I found myself lingering over the illustrations as much as the tales themselves.
