The little seed waking up with a yawn and stretch made me smile right away—such a gentle way to start a story about growth. It's a short, sweet read that my kid asks for again and again.

The hard brown jacket falling away with a "CRACK" made my daughter gasp and giggle—it's such a vivid, sensory moment. We've read it every night this week and she's already pretending to be the little seed.

My son loves the part where the seed cracks her jacket open—he always giggles at the "CRACK" sound effect. The illustrations are so vibrant that he points out every tiny detail on the page.
