Ostheimer Horse with Saddle II

My toddler carries this horse everywhere — the smooth wood feels lovely and the saddle stays put surprisingly well during play. It's beautifully simple, just like the Waldorf toys I grew up with.

The saddle is removable, which makes playtime more versatile, and the natural wood grain shows through the paint beautifully. My child has been galloping this horse all around the room since it arrived.

The wood has this lovely warm, smooth feel that you just don't get with plastic toys, and the little saddle sits perfectly on the horse’s back. It's clearly been crafted with so much care, and my kids have already started weaving it into their nativity play. Feels like something we'll pass down for
