Ostheimer Joseph 11

The finish is perfectly smooth, no sharp edges at all—my toddler picked it up immediately. It has a nice weight that feels substantial in the hand, and the simple silhouette is very charming. Just what we needed for our nativity set.

The wood grain is so warm and tactile, you can tell it was carved by hand in Germany. My toddler keeps grabbing it for our nativity scene, and it’s sturdy enough to survive daily play. Exactly the quality I hoped for from a Waldorf-style piece.

I was really impressed with the smooth finish and the hand-painted details on this wooden figure—the robe's subtle color transitions are lovely. It adds a quiet, warm presence to our nativity set that feels special.
