The 5 mm birch plywood feels sturdy enough to survive toddler hands, and at 9.5 cm square it's the perfect shelf size. I got the pig one for my nephew's nursery and it already looks adorable holding his first coins.

The little birch plywood farm animals are even cuter in person, and the 9.5 cm size is perfect for a nursery shelf. I love that the piggy bank has a proper slot, making it functional as a money box from day one.

The birch plywood feels sturdy and the paintwork is clean, no rough edges which matters when it's on a nursery shelf. It's a bit smaller than I pictured from the 9.5 cm size, but the cow motif is charming enough that I don't mind.
