Lyra Super Ferby Unlaquered 12

The thick lead lays down vibrant color with just a light touch, which is perfect for my six-year-old who tends to press hard. These hold up well to sharpening without crumbling, and the natural wood grip feels nice in the hand.

The unvarnished wood barrel gives a nice grip even when my hands get a little sweaty from coloring. The pigment is incredibly rich on the first stroke.

My kid's drawings have never popped like this before — that extra thick lead lays down color so fast you barely have to press. The pigment intensity is genuinely impressive for the price, and the triangular shape keeps them from rolling off the table. We'll definitely buy these again.
