The tin packaging is sturdy enough to survive being tossed in my art bag, and the color selection covers all the essential primaries I need for mixing. Each pencil lays down pigment smoothly without that waxy feel cheaper sets have.

I’ve been blending these pencils for a few days now, and the range of primary colors lets me mix just about any shade I need. The wood feels smooth when sharpening, and the tin keeps everything organized on my desk.

The case itself is sturdy tin, which keeps everything organized. I’ve been using these for blending and layering, and the color payoff is surprisingly vibrant for a standard set. Perfect for my daily sketching.
